We are always in need of loving foster homes. Fostering gives these kitties the time they need to grow big enough to be adopted or time to heal. Fostering is an integral part of our success. Without foster homes we are unable to help these kitties. If you think you have a little space email us. It can be a wonderful, rewarding experience. Faerie Tales Cat Rescue tries to save as many cats and kittens from local shelters/pounds in several Michigan and Northern Ohio regions. We just do not have enough foster homes to rescue all the animals. Foster homes are what allow us to provide love and care to these cats and kittens until we can find them their own Happily Ever After story with a Forever Family. The more foster homes, the more cats we save!

Foster Homes

We allow our foster homes to assist in the screening of potential adopters and decide upon which adopter is best suited for their foster pet based on our adoption guidelines. We know that no one knows the animal’s needs better than the person who cares for it daily.
We do not require our foster homes to attend every adoption event.
We pay for 100% of the vet bills and will never ask you to put out money to care for the foster pet’s medical needs. We also provide donated items such as food and litter when they are available.
We are always available for advice and support of our foster families.

We are currently recruiting for more foster homes in order to be better prepared to respond to the urgent calls for help. As we do not have a brick and mortar building to house our cats in, we need YOU to house a cat in order to save a life.
